You can meet difficulties to convert a .tap into a wav file in order to load it from a PC to a real Oric.
For instance, if you try to convert Xenon1.tap with Fabrice France's Tap2Wav, the program seems to enter into an endless loop, making a huuuuuuuuuge wav file and filling your harddrive until a crash unless you stop it.

Therefore, I present here a little converter of my own (sorry gys, it's in french, but anyway, I think you can deal with it ), that do not have this annoying bug :

Instructions to convert a tap file for a real Oric :
1) Create a wav file with a sample rate of 11025 Hz
2) use the windows "tape player" (you can found it here : Start-->All programs-->Accessories-->entertainment) to play the file, connecting the Jack on the Headphones output of your soundcard or speaker.

Il peut arriver que vous éprouviez des difficultés à convertir un fichier ".tap" en fichier ".wav" afin de le charger d'un PC vers un vrai Oric.
Par exemple, essayez donc de convertir Xenon1.tap (que vous trouverez en téléchargement dans la rubrique jeux)... le programme Tap2Wav de Fabrice Frances, que vous connaissez surement, semble rentrer dans une boucle infinie, créant un fichier wav qui rempli votre disque dur jusqu'au crash, à moins que vous ne l'arrétiez.

Pour palier à ce problême, je vous propose ici un petit utilitaire de conversion de fichiers tap pour Windows.

Istructions pour convertir un fichier tap destiné à un vrai Oric :
1) convertir le fichier en choisissant une Fréquence de 11025Hz
2) connectez le Jack de votre cable de transfert cassette sur la sortie casque de votre carte son (ou sur la sortie casque de vos enceintes)
3) utilisez le "Magnetophone" de Windows (vous le trouverez dans Démarrer-->Tous les programmes-->accessoires-->divertissement) pour "jouer" le fichier wav.
