we undertook to complete Teknis 

a little-know RPG with…

... very few informations on the net :

no user manual, no post in forums.

OGC is going to change that !




@  INTRODUCTION  @

Your mission is clear :


take back very important documents

in the middle of a hostile city

occupying  par by revolted robots

a future I-Robot ?

 

You must clear a path to a strongroom 

with a "C" on it and to force its entry,

the documents are inside.

You'll be able to buy some equipment from

the local shopkeepers.

 




@  CHARACTER CREATION  @

You have 40 points to put into 6 caracteristics : 

Technical abilities to create objects : 
- Fingering technique
-Technical sensitivity

Fighting abilities to kill robots :
- Power
-Resistance

Business abilities to buy and sell :
- Autority
- Amability

This choice determine :

- Technologic potential
- Life points
- Money

You'll see them in the bottom of the screen
 in the game




@  TELEPORTATION IN THE CITY  @

You are teleported in a cabin in north

there are 4, distributed at the 4 cardinal points.

Hit (H) to show the keys

for the moment you can only leave the cabin (S)

Once outside, you discovered the labyrinth 

it looks like another ?

The keys to move are showed :

Y - G - J




@  ROBOTS  @

After some steps, you meet your first robot 

fight it right now !

The first robots are easy to kill even without weapon, but
    after it'll became harder.

  - perquisitionneur et irradieur : easy to kill 
    
  - chapardeur et exterminateur : very difficult
  The number after the "+" indicate the strong of the robot
 ex: exterminateur 2+ or 4+

   They have different armours and weapons.

Sometimes it can be wise to flee
even if you could be lost after.

The fight stage is very quick

you should slow down euphoric to read the actions

Press "F1" and put the speed processor on 0,5 

>  There's a bug when we die :

the game leave automatically to the oric prompt




@  DOCTOR @

The treatment are very expensive,  it's too much realistic !

   the first aid pil cost around 18f, and heal only 2 LP

The doctor's fees are around 50f and 5f / LP
    you should wait to be hardly injuried before be healed

by the doctor.

The doctor in the north of the city is less expensive.




@  BAZAR  @

They are very hard in businnes

You can only bargain three time for a same object
or the shopkeeper will be angry and won't want 
to deal with you again.

   There're 2 Bazars, in the city.

 You can buy tools,

the fantastic teleportation belt,


the robot detector (need a battery),

etc...




HARDWARE SHOP@

After a fight you'll take stuff on the robots.
   Sometimes you could take very valuable items.
   ex: 2  lazer canons and 1 piece of radar = 280 fs

   Do not hesitate to save a game with F9 before a fight 
because the items find on the robot.
 
The hardware shop is the good place to sell items.

If you want to became a good technician

you must buy books to increase your skills.

But read take time and time is

important in this game.

The books cost a lot of money

but you'll be able to sell items

that you have made.

    In this RPG you can fabricate

weapons and detectors

it's a good deal because they cost a lot of money.

If you want to do technic go to the

workshop (there're two)

Your technical potential is very usefull in

this place.



        Make weapons :

    After reading books you'll be able
    to make weapons, you need :

     - Spare parts
     - Tools
     - a minimal technical level

    It's not obvious to understand the evolution of
    technical level, here is what change the level :

      > Buying ans selling tools
      > Books reading
      > Making weapons

    A book can, curiously, increase and decrease
    the technical level !

and you must have a better rank 

than soldier

If you have the rank of sergeant

 you can activate the access computer

but you must give to it the access code.

The code is write on a paper

somewhere in the city and you must know the

Voici quelques petites remarques qui peuvent aider un joueur qui découvre le jeu  : 
    Character creation: 
- the creation points are given randomly, launch the game until have enough points
- boost the fighting skills in order to have a lot of life points
- the technology skills increase with books
- the selling prices of the items are set by the shopkeeper, the business habilities are useless

    Weapons :
- Buy or make the proton canons as soon as you can, with this weapon you can kill a robot with one or two shot

    Safe deposit :
- In order to have to coordinates of the paper you must must use the locator, the small grenn plot show the coordinates of the paper

The damage are calculated :
 
Damage Weapon = 
Random(from 0.0 to 1.0) * PW + PW/5
Damage Without Weapon = 
Random(From de 0.0 to 1.0) * PF
 
Total damages = DW+ DWW
 
Total protection = RE/5
 
Inflicted damage = 
(Total damages - Total protection) / 5
 
Rise in rank :
 
You must kill more than the half of your life points.
Ex : If you have 40 LP, you must kill 21 robots.

@  CONCLUSION  @


          Here is the stages to succed in the mission :

 - fight with robots to be promoted to sergeant (15 à 20 fights)
 - have money to buy a proton canon and a locator
 - find the paper with the code and locate the coordinate with the locator
 - reach the safe deposit, the room with the
C on it
 - give to the computer the code
-  give the coordinate of the paper from the locator
 - take the secret documents
 - reach a working teleportor before 20 minutes

   NB:   Use the teleportation belt, it's great !!
